A motorcyclist was grievously hurt on Sunday afternoon in a crash in Marsalforn, the police said.

The accident took place in the road which leads to Victoria at 12.15pm.

The biker, a 31-year-old man of Victoria, was riding a KTM bike which was involved in a crash with a Renault Megane driven by a 53-year-old man from Fontana.

The biker was taken to Gozo Hospital for treatment.
