A man was seriously injured on Sunday evening after a fall in Floriana, the police said.
The accident took place in Sa Maison Street at around 9.15pm.
The man, aged 61 of Rabat, was taken to hospital with serious injuries.
Magistrate Doreen Clarke is leading an inquiry.
