A woman fell off a Gozo Channel vessel on Thursday evening as the ship was crossing between the two islands, the police said.

The accident happened at around 7.15pm

The woman, whose personal details are unknown, was picked up from the sea by a Transport Malta seacraft.

She was then transferred to Mater Dei Hospital.

Her condition is not yet known, but it appears that she does not have life-threatening injuries.
