Two men were arrested by the police in connection with a burglary that took place in Birzebbuga.

The police were informed at around 1030pm on 24 July that money and jewellery had been stolen from a residence in Triq San Mikiel.

After investigating the case and analysing CCTV footage, the police identified the two robbers and arrested them. The men, aged 32 and 39, were arrested by members of the Major Crimes Unit. They are expected to be arraigned in court later today.
