Four Syrian men were arrested by the police after a fight which involved the use of wooden and iron pieces in Qormi.

The incident took place before midnight on Friday in Mdina Road.

Three of the men were injured in the fight. A 20-year-old was grievously hurt while two others both aged 23 were slightly injured.

The fourth man, aged 18, was not hurt.

All four were arrested and kept overnight at police headquarters.
