Minister Aaron Farrugia commended this initiative by the local council to regenerate an open space in the community and explained that due to the need to have a greener environment in urban areas, Ambjent Malta had a part in this project by planting 200 trees and shrubs.

While urging local councils to consider more green projects, Minister Farrugia said that such interventions will continue improving the urban environment in the country and improve the quality of life for all.

"This is a comprehensive project as it respects the environmental aspect while at the same time providing a creative and open space for the community. It has become indispensable to have similar projects so that our communities have open spaces that are necessary for their well-being," stated Minister Herrera.
