Sixty-two Covid-19 new cases were reported on Saturday by the health authorities, while one more death was recorded.

The latest victim is a 64-year-old woman. The number of recorded deaths is now 442.

In all, 36,426 Covid-19 cases have been registered in Malta.

The 33 patients who recovered have taken the tally to 34,869.

The number of swab tests carried out on Friday was 3,351, for a total of 1,204,857.

There are 33 patients in hospital, two of whom are in intensive care, the authorities said.

The number of vaccination doses administered is nearing 800,000, at 798,760. There are 413,600 people who are fully vaccinated.
