A man was injured after a fall on a construction site, the police said.

The accident took place in Sir Paul Boffa Street, Marsascala, at 2pm on Tuesday.

The man, who fell one storey, did not immediately go to hospital.

But later he was in pain, called for an ambulance, and was taken to Mater Dei Hospital for treatment,

The police said that man was admitted at 8.30pm and they were informed at 10.45pm.
