A six-year-old boy suffered grievous injuries after being mauled by a dog in Marsascala, the police said.
The incident took place at the national park at 3.45pm.
The boy was mauled and bitten by the dog, and needed hospital treatment for grievous injuries.
The police did not provide further details.
