PL MP Ian Castaldi Paris has been replaced by PL MP Jonathan Attard on the Public Accounts Committee.

Castaldi Paris was under fire recently 

A couple of weeks ago, it was revealed that Castaldi Paris had discussed buying a £16 million London property with Yorgen Fenech, however the MP later told Malta Today that he was bluffing to Fenech when discussing the property purchase. "It was pure bluff from my end. I have no property, neither in London, nor in any part of the world," Castaldi Paris told the newspaper.

The substitution was announced by Deputy Prime minister Chris Fearne in Parliament. No official reason was given.

The Public Accounts Committee is expected to continue discussing the Electrogas deal on Wednesday.
