Sixteen new Covid-19 cases were found on Saturday, while 35 patients have recovered, the health authorities said.

This takes the number of cases registered in Malta to 37,325, with 36,194 recoveries.

The number of deaths has remained at 459, while the number of active cases has dropped to 263.

The authorities said 838,419 vaccination doses have been administered.

There are currently seven persons in hospital receiving treatment for Covid-19, one of whom is in intensive care.
