13 new Covid-19 cases have been reported by health authorities in their latest daily update.

21 people, meanwhile, have recovered from the virus, meaning that the number of active cases currently stands at 219.

13 patients are currently receiving treatment for the virus at Mater Dei Hospital, with four of those in intensive care.

Up till Sunday, 867,820 doses of the vaccine had been administered, with 44,830 of those being booster shots.

Malta has had 37,568 cases of Covid-19, of which 36,480 have recovered. 460 people have died.
