A survey conducted by statistician Vince Marmara shows that the Labour Party has a 15% advantage over the Nationalist Party.
The survey, conducted between 29 October and 4 November, shows that if an election were to be held today, the Labour Party would have a 46,000 majority.
The survey was conducted among 750 respondents and has a 95% confidence level, he said, with a margin of error of =/- 3.6%.
"When comparing this result to the 2017 general election result, one notes a 1.7% increase for the Labour Party, a 2% decrease for the PN and a 0.3% increase for ADPD or others," Marmara said.
The Nationalist Party has been struggling to make any headway in the polls, even after a change in leadership last year, when Bernard Grech took over from Adrian Delia.
The PN has been coming out with a number of proposals for many different sectors, but seems to still be struggling to make any headway.
