A teenaged girl was grievously injured when a racing car crashed into a wall and Hal Far, with stones hitting the girl who was watching in the vicinity, the police said.

The accident happened on Saturday at 4pm.

The car was being driven by a 29-year-old from Qormi.

The girl, aged 14, was taken to hospital with grievous injuries.
