Two men were injured after they fell a height of two metres off scaffolding in Rabat, the police said.

The accident took place in St Paul’s Street at 9.30am.

A man aged 61 of Dingli and another aged 57 of Rabat were decorating the church when they both fell off.

The 57-year-old was grievously hurt and taken to Mater Dei Hospital. The other man received treatment at a health centre.
