The Met Office has issued a warning on strong winds that are to hit the Maltese Islands over the weekend.

The Force 5 wind on Friday afternoon will increase to Force 7 by tonight and further to force 8 on Saturday.

Rain is expected on Friday and Saturday, when the feel like temperature is set to plunge from Friday’s 16 degrees Celsius to Saturday’s 11 degrees.
