A passenger in a car was grievously injured in a collision which took place in St Julian’s this morning, the police said.

The accident took place in Mikiel Anton Vassalli Street at 7am.

It involved a Toyota Corolla driven by a 38-year-old man of Qormi, and an Isuzu Elf, driven by an Albanian man aged 31.

The Albanian man had two other Albanian passengers with him, aged 28 and 26, with the latter taken to hospital with grievous injuries.
