Two women and a man were taken to hospital after two cars crashed in Ta’ Qali on Sunday evening, the police said.

The accident took place at 11.30pm.

It involved a Fiat friven by a 23-year-old woman of Tarxien, who had another 23-year-old woman, from Paola, riding as a passenger, and a Ford driven by an 18-year-old man from San Gwann.

The two women suffered grievous injuries while the man was slightly hurt.
