The 22 semi-finalists for the upcoming Malta Eurovision Song Contest for the year 2022 have been revealed.
The contest can now proceed on to the semi-finals.
Television Malta will be directly broadcasting the semi-finals as well as the finals of the Malta Eurovision Song Contest next February.
22 contestants will participate on the night, 16 of whom will pass on to the finals. In the semi-final phase, the songs will be chosen by a jury as well as the public's vote.
The winning song from the contest's finals will go on to represent Malta in the Eurovision Song Contest in May, which will be held in Turin, Italy. Last year, Måneskin won the Eurovision Song Contest 2021 for Italy with their song Zitti E Buoni.
