The Celebration of Life for beloved doctor Victor Calvagna will take place on Wednesday 12 January, Puttinu Cares has announced. 

The funeral will be held at the Mosta rotunda at 3:30pm. 

Calvagna passed away on Tuesday, a week after he was hit by a car in Qawra. He was 63 years old. 

The popular oncologist, who was one of the founding members of Puttinu Cares, suffered severe brain damage as a result of the accident. His family later announced that his treatment would be stopped and nature would be allowed to take its course. 

The organisers said that due to the Covid-19 situation, they are putting all efforts into ensuring that the funeral will comply with all the necessary regulations as requested by the Health department.
