A policewoman did what could be described as an act of heroism after she jumped out in front of a car to save a 4-year-old girl from being run over in Rabat.
The girl’s mother described what happened on Facebook, saying that the policewoman – who has been identified by the police force as PC 2423, C. Delia – was in Rabat outside St. Paul’s Church when she jumped out in front the car.
This was to stop a 4-year-old girl from getting run over, after she was scooting to catch up to her father.
“At the time we were so stressed (and embarrassed at our poor judgement!) that we didn’t even stop to thank her,” the parent wrote on social media.
The message was shared by the Malta Police Force on Facebook, who praised PC Delia for her work.
