Two men died while positive with Covid-19, the health authorities said on Sunday.

The men were aged 75 and 85. This brings the total number of deaths since the start of the pandemic up to 547.

191 new cases of the virus were registered, while 401 people recovered.

The number of active cases has dropped to 3,133.

Currently, 93 people are with Covid in Mater Dei Hospital, five of whom are in the ITU.

1,209,784 vaccine doses have been administered so far, 329,387 of which are booster shots.

Malta has had 67,486 cases of the virus.  63,420 of those have recovered.
