A seated event is being organised to celebrate the feast of St Paul’s Shipwreck in Valletta this Thursday.

The statue of the saint will be taken out of the church at 6.30pm and a band concert will follow, the Ghaqda Pawlini said on its Facebook page.

Covid-19 protocols will be in place.

Feasts in Malta have been cancelled for the past two years as a result of the Covid-19 pandemic.

Talks are in place on the coming festa season, but no details are as yet known.

The feast of St Paul’s Shipwreck is the first of the calendar year.
