Six Covid-19 deaths recorded, 107 new cases

Six persons died with Covid-19, health authorities reported Saturday, while the number of new cases reached 107.

The latest victims are four men - two aged 66, and two others aged 80 and 96; and two women aged 86 and 89.

In all, 585 persons have dies with Covid-19.

There are 61 patients with Covid-19 in hospital, four of whom in intensive care.

The number of persons who recovered was 198, leaving 1,775 active cases.

The number of vaccination doses administered until Friday was 1,228,924, of which 337,392 were booster doses.

Malta has had 69,839 cases of the virus so far. 67,043 of those have recovered.
