80 new Covid-19 cases reported

80 new cases of Covid-19 have been reported by health authorities, with no new deaths being added to Malta’s tally in the last 24 hours.

88 people have recovered from the virus, taking the number of active cases down to 725.

45 patients are currently receiving treatment at Mater Dei Hospital, with three of those being in intensive care.

1,240,316 doses of the vaccine have been administered thus far, with 342,014 of those being booster doses.

Malta has had 71,021 cases of Covid-19.  69,279 of those have recovered, while 601 have died.
