The call for applications for the post of Nationalist Party leader closed on Saturday at noon, with Bernard Grech the only nominee.

Grech took over the PN leadership in October 2020, and is set to be confirmed when the general council is held.

A due diligence process will now take place before Grech faces the general council vote to be confirmed as PN leader. A simple majority would be enough for him to continue as PN leader.
