Ukrainian president Volodymyr Zelenskyy is expected to address the Maltese Parliament on Tuesday afternoon.

The announcement was made by Speaker Anglu Farrugia on TVM on Friday morning.

Zelenskyy is expected to address MPs via video conference. Farrugia said the address by the Ukrainian president is “on” unless there are any problems on the Ukrainian side.

Last month, Foreign Affairs Minister Ian Borg had asked Zelenskyy to consider addressing the House of Representatives. Parliament convenes on Saturday morning.
