The OHSA is investigating an accident on a building site in Fgura where a worker sustained slight injuries.

The incident occurred at 2.45 pm on Triq San Tumas, Fgura. The worker was in an excavator on a roof, part of which collapsed, the police said.

A stop order to immediately stop all work activity on site was issued by OHSA.

Since the investigation is ongoing, the OHSA said it is not in a position to make other comments at this time.

The man was taken to Mater Dei Hospital, the police did not have an update about his injuries.
