Drivers in Zebbug were met with a strange cause of traffic this evening.

A large amount of hay was blocking part of Mdina road Zebbug, heading in the direction of Qormi, a photo posted on the Facebook group Malta Roads Traffic Updates showed.

Police said that the hay fell from a truck. Officers went on site to control traffic until the hay is cleared.
