A coach overturned into a Gozitan valley on Monday, leaving the driver in hospital.

The accident happened at 8am in Triq it-Tigrija in Nadur, Gozo.

There were no passengers on board the bus at the time, however the driver has been hospitalised.

He was taken to Gozo General Hospital and his condition is still pending.

Members of the Police Force and the Civil Protection Department were on site to assist.
