A man was grievously injured when a gas cylinder exploded in Valletta on Friday evening, the police said.
The accident took place in the kitchen of an establishment in Ordnance Street at 10pm.
The man, aged 44, from Valletta, was taken to Mater Dei Hospital for treatment.
