Four persons were injured in a fight involving a Polish couple and two Syrians in Marsalforn on Sunday morning.

The police said the incident occurred in Triq il-Port at 7.30am.

It involved a Polish man, aged 25, a Polish woman, aged 29, and two Syrians aged 23 and 26.

All four ended up at the Gozo General Hospital, with the 23-year-old Syrian suffering grievous injuries and the other three were slightly hurt.
