A man is in danger of dying after he suffered injuries from a construction site fall on Monday morning.

Police said that they were informed that their assistance was needed at 7am in a construction site in Triq Nardo Sacco in Zurrieq.

Preliminary investigations on shite showed that a 62-year-old man from Zabbar suffered injuries after he fell and hit his head while carrying out work at the said construction site.

The man was given medical assistance and rushed to Mater Dei Hospital by ambulance, where he was certified as suffering from serious injuries.

Duty magistrate Leonard Caruana is leading an inquiry while police investigations are also on going.
