A biker was grievously injured in a traffic accident in Marsa on Saturday evening, the police.

The accident took place in Aldo Moro Road, at 9.15pm.

The biker, a 37-year-old man from Birzebbuga, was riding a Honda which was involved in a collision with a Toyota Vitz driven by a Nigerian man aged 29, resident on St Paul’s Bay.

He was taken to hospital with grievous injuries.
