A man and a woman, both English, were injured in a traffic accident on Monday.
The accident took place in Triq il-Wied, Iklin, at around noon, the police said.
The couple were riding a Lexmoto motorcycle, which was being driven by the man, when they lost control and fell.
The man, 54, was slightly injured while the woman, 53, suffered grievous injuries.
They were both taken to Mater Dei Hospital by ambulance.
Police investigations are ongoing.
