A man was injured after he lost control of the vehicle he was driving and crashed into barriers in Burmarrad on Thursday evening, the police said.

The accident happened at around 8.30pm when the driver, aged 47 of St Paul’s Bay, lost control of the Daihatsu and crashed.

The vehicle then careened into a bus, an Otokar Kent 280, being driven by a 42-year-old man of Zabbar.

The Daihatsu driver was taken to hospital with grievous injuries.
