A worker was injured when he was hit by a mechanical shovel on a construction site in Marsaxlokk on Saturday, the police said.
The accident took place in the Xrobb l-Ghagin area at 11,30am.
The worker, an Albanian man aged 34 and resident in Zebbug, was taken to hospital with grievous injuries.
