22 new Covid-19 cases registered

22 Covid-19 cases were registered on Wednesday, with the number of active cases going down to 217.

No more deaths have been reported.

There have been 113,892 Covid-19 cases in the country since the start of the pandemic, of which 112,480 recovered.  A total of 799 people died while Covid positive.

The Health Ministry stopped publishing daily bulletins on social media which display details about the pandemic in Malta the day after the March 2022 general election.

Data is still being published by the Health Ministry's COVID-19 Public Health Response Team on an open-source database on the platform GitHub, although certain details, such as the number of positive Covid-19 cases in hospital and details about people who died, are not included in the dataset.
