Gudja United and Gzira United produced a spectacular match yesterday sharing six goals between them.

It was an important point especially for Gzira who played for most of the match with ten men as Riascos was shown two yellow cards in the first half.

Jefferson De Assis was instrumental with two goals for the Maroons, but Gudja confirmed the positive things shown in the first match against Mosta.

In the other match new look Valletta continued to impress after their good showing against the champions.

Yesterday they went on a scoring spree against newly promoted Pieta, who after their good showing against Floriana, showed all their limitations against the Citizens.

A special day for Valletta midfielder Triston Caruana who was hastily removed from the initial line-up and was replaced by Christian Gauci, just in timeto see the birth of his son.
