A man has died after falling three storeys from his residence in Triq il-Ġojjin in Fgura on Tuesday morning.

The man has been identified as a 59-year-old Maltese national.

Police said in a statement that the tragedy happened at around 8:45am while the man was doing some plastering residence at his home.

A medical team from Mater Dei Hospital was called to the scene to assist the victim, but he was certified dead at the scene.

Duty magistrate Gabriella Vella is leading an inquiry, while police investigations are ongoing as well.
