The Malta Police Force has released a public call for the whereabouts of a man who must appear in court.

The police said that Mahmud Abd al Salam el Adaw is wanted in relation to a pending court case.

The 44-year-old was accused of stabbing another man in the stomach in a St Paul’s Bay shop two years ago, leaving the shop's owner with grievous injuries.

Anyone with information about his whereabouts is asked to contact the police via Facebook Messenger or call the Police GHQ even in anonymity on 21224001 / 119 and quote number 7/2022.
