All witnesses in electoral fraud case say they do not live in Siggiewi, PN says

All the witnesses who testified in a court case instituted by the Nationalist Party, which is claiming electoral fraud, said that they do not live in Siggiewi.

The Nationalist Party is accusing the Labour Party of registering nearly 100 voters as residents at a housing complex in Siġġiewi which is still in shell form. The residents who were registered do not live in this government estate, the PN is arguing, a statement confirmed in court today.

In a statement, the PN said that the voters registered in the Siggiewi block testified, under oath, that they live in Qormi, Mosta, Marsascala and Marsalforn.

The witnesses said that they have not signed any agreement to reside in the Siggiewi block, and have not even been given the keys.

This is proof that the Labour Party is committing an electoral fraud in an attempt to win more seats at the Siggiewi local council, the PN said.
