23 new Covid-19 cases, active cases back at 100

There were 23 new Covid-19 cases reported on Saturday, as the number of active cases is back at 100.

Figures released by the health authorities show that 114,251 cases have been registered in Malta, with 112,953 people who recovered.

The number of deaths remains at 802.

The Health Ministry stopped publishing daily bulletins on social media which display details about the pandemic in Malta the day after the March 2022 general election.

Data is still being published by the Health Ministry's COVID-19 Public Health Response Team on an open-source database on the platform GitHub, although certain details, such as the number of positive Covid-19 cases in hospital and details about people who died, are not included in the dataset.
