13 foreign nationals living and working irregularly taken to police HQ

Police inspections tied to irregular migration took place on Thursday, assisted by Detention Services officials as well as officials from the Occupational Health & Safety Authority (OHSA).

They conducted inspections on construction sites in St Paul's Bay. The police said 13 people who were working and living in Malta irregularly were found - from Georgia, Albania, Pakistan, Mali, Senegal and Nigeria. They were taken to the police HQ in Floriana, where the process to extradite them began.
