Police inspections tied to irregular migration took place on Thursday, assisted by Detention Services officials as well as officials from the Occupational Health & Safety Authority (OHSA).
They conducted inspections on construction sites in St Paul's Bay. The police said 13 people who were working and living in Malta irregularly were found - from Georgia, Albania, Pakistan, Mali, Senegal and Nigeria. They were taken to the police HQ in Floriana, where the process to extradite them began.
