What is being alleged is disgusting, Home affairs minister Byron camilleri said about the alleged police abuse case.

Two police constables have been charged last Sunday with abducting and grievously injuring foreign nationals. A third police officer was charged on Monday after he was discharged from the hospital.

During a parliamentary session, Camilleri said that the government will not allow a minority to hinder all the good that other officers in the disciplined forces do.

The minister said that although the alleged abuse is very bad, the majority of the disciplined forces "would never have such a thing run through the corridors of their minds".

"What happened in not acceptable in our society" he said.
