During his speech, the PM said that such businesses are a crucial part of Malta's economic success, and that this is why the government continued to invest in them, not only for them to survive in the face of challenges but to also keep growing and changing with the aim of being more innovative and sustainable.
Abela said the products being manufactured in this factory are pushing the "made in Malta" brand, because it attracts foreign investment on a daily basis.
Abela said that with a state-of-the-art investment, this factory is guaranteed to work efficiently and sustainably.
He said that the government's goal is for Malta to become climate neutral and that is why it is promoting sustainable models that reduce energy consumption and pollution.
Abela said that this investment reflects the government's vision for businesses in Malta, where they can venture into new sectors, invest in the sustainability of production whilst also offering quality jobs.
Pet Nutrition House is planning to add more workers in the near future together with 40 people it already employs.
