Seventeen new Covid-19 cases were recorded Saturday, with one more death registered.

Health authorities said that the total number of cases recorded in Malta is now 115,176, with the number of deaths now reaching 808.

The number of active cases is 353, while the number of people who recovered is 113,619.

The Health Ministry stopped publishing daily bulletins on social media which display details about the pandemic in Malta.

Data is still being published by the Health Ministry's COVID-19 Public Health Response Team on an open-source database on the platform GitHub, although certain details, such as the number of positive Covid-19 cases in hospital and details about people who died, are not included in the dataset.
