Police and the Armed Forces of Malay carried out inspections on 560 cars on Christmas Eve, the police said in a statement.
The inspections were carried out in respect of traffic regulations including valid licence, insurance cover, driving without use of seatbelt, driving under the influence, and tinted glass.
The police did not say how many drivers were booked or if any arrests were made.
