A motorcyclist was injured when the bike he was riding was involved in a collision with a car in Swieqi on Friday.

The police said the accident took place in Triq il-Keffa at 8am.

The biker, a 24-year-old man from St Paul’s Bay, was riding a Honda CBF125 which was involved in a crash with a Toyota Passo driven by an 88-year-old man of Swieqi.

The biker was taken to hospital with grievous injuries.
