A young man was critically injured on Thursday evening after he lost control of the quad bike he was riding and overturned, the police said.
The accident took place in Triq il-Blata, Wied il-Mielah, Gharb, at 7pm.
The man, from England and aged 25, lost control of the Segway Snarler he was riding and overturned, the police said.
He was taken to Gozo Hospital with serious injuries.
Magistrate Brigitte Sultana is leading an inquiry.
